I have been a dilettante of an earlier era for as long as I can remember. A person amused and fascinated by nostalgia. So, when I developed an interest in photography, film or digital was never a question. I quickly fell in love with the art of film photography and all of its delicate nuances. It is a form of expression that feeds my creative appetite.

For this reason, Misty Rivers Film Boudoir Studio will not be available for commission. This is merely an avenue for creative expression for myself and the muse I choose to work with. My desire is to work in collaboration with experienced models to create unique, spontaneous, and fortuitous art with a timeless medium.

Models may make anywhere between 50$-200$. Monetary variables include time spent (50$ per hour) and the overall success of the shoot and photographs developed.

Shooting with film can be unpredictable and does not always turn out how it was thought or imagined. This is what makes the experience both unique and a challenge. The outcome is especially unpredictable when implementing highly experimental practices such as reusing film or overlapping images.
